More REVO Test Pilots trying out the R1 & R2, thanks for your excellent reports on these 2 weapons. It’s pleasing to hear how well the REVO Ski’s perform. How comfortable the cockpit is. How well they surf. And how quick and easy it is to adjust between different paddlers. ... See more
Unbelievably good review from a very accomplished paddler. For those few who have been privileged to paddle a Revo the opinion is unanimous there is something special and unique about the hull design. Contact us to arrange a paddle in one of our demo skis now available in Perth, Sydney and the Gold Coast. ... See more
A Revo R3 review Danny Matthews Revo R3 June 2018 flat water testing Ulswater England "Hi Alan, thank you for allowing me to try the Revo R3 today. Wow what a boat, yesterday It was not setup correctly and i felt a limited top speed but today after a bit of fiddling it felt amazing and no problem with speed today. The only limit today was actually my fitness. The boat accelerated like my k1 and it felt very responsive. Today we had a play on some big steamer/ferry waves. At the start I had a few moments when I felt uncomfortable, but then I realised that it was me trying to correct the boat, but the boat was actually solid. I have not felt this before and it felt as if the boat was glued to the wave. Is this due to the design ? It felt like the boat was vacuumed to the water and very solid. I had some great fun surfing one handed for a good 500m. I did feel the foot rest could do with a bottom fixing point, as I could feel a lot of movement, and was concerned that I may break it. But over all what a boat. So far I would score Looks 10/10 Acceleration 9/10 On the flat Top speed 8/10 Handling on the flat 10/10 Stability down wind breech waves and up wind 10/10 (the Revo R3 cuts through waves like a hot knife through butter) Stability angle waves 8/10 ( I have scored down as it felt twitchy on an angle wave, but I'm sure I would get used to this. and score higher) Thank you again for this opportunity to paddle the f1 brand of ski racing, you have opened up my eyes to ski paddling and i cannot wait to get myself fit and push for some results in the future. Im as motivated now as I was when I won the world's and for me that's great as I lost my love of paddling a long time ago and wanted a new challenge. Now I have found it :-)" Among Dannys achievements. World cup France K2 gold 1998 6th World Championships & Junior World Cups Cape Town Junior Mens K2 champions Paul Prestwood/Danny Matthews ... Wow poetry in motion.
Revo brings colour and innovation to the Surfski community. Normally the vehicle is a colour and the ski is white. Reverse bow, reverse colours.
Congratulations Todd Boreland our Dealer in Sydney who came 10th overall just behind Oscar Chalupski.
